Moradeyo Adeyi is a trained EFT therapist, specializing in working with couples. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a structured, short-term approach to couples counseling that integrates systemic, humanistic, and attachment theories to improve relationship satisfaction by fostering secure emotional bonds between partners.
The therapy unfolds in three stages:
De-escalation of Negative Interaction Cycles: Identifying and understanding the recurring patterns that lead to conflict.Verywell Mind
Restructuring Interactions: Encouraging partners to express underlying emotions and attachment needs, promoting responsiveness and accessibility.
Consolidation and Integration: Developing new, healthier communication strategies to solidify positive changes.
-
I offer supportive, growth-focused supervision for social workers on the path to clinical licensure.
As a licensed LCSW in both New York and New Jersey, I provide guidance rooted in real-world experience, cultural humility, and a commitment to your professional development.
Whether you're navigating challenging cases or just need space to reflect, I'm here to walk alongside you.
